The award winning bar attendants can create the most tempting and exotic cocktails - which feature in the cocktail tasting sessions each Friday night from 5.00pm to 7.00pm with complimentary finger food.

The Pacific Hotel Cairns’ Conference and Events Centre, is right in the centre of the city, along the picturesque esplanade park, boardwalk and swimming lagoon.  

The hotel has 7 meeting rooms covering 625m2 which provides great flexibility when your conference has numerous elements such as workshops, breakout sessions and training.

The hotel has undergone an extensive 20million dollar makeover in 2013 and also has a brand new porte cochere, lobby, bar & lounge and of course the state of the art Conference Centre with its relaxed and contemporary design and décor.  

The Pacific Conference and Events Centre is located within the 4½  star Pacific Hotel Cairns, offering spacious, contemporary accommodation room all with private balconies and broadband internet access. Views from this hotel are all wonderful whether you are facing the lush tropical mountains or the picturesque Coral Sea.  WiFi access is available in the hotel lobby area, Conference and Events Centre.

The Pacific Ballroom:

This is the largest room at the Pacific hotel’s Conference Centre.  It is modern and elegant with crystal chandeliers, Italian furniture and cool colour scheme.  The room has no pillars to obstruct views and convenient access directly to the poolside terrace.  The Crush Lobby is adjacent and perfect for break out catering, pre dinner cocktails or registration set ups.

Harbour Room:

This is a fantastic space on Level 2 with floor-to-ceiling windows and 180 degree views over the parklands and waterfront Esplanade.  This also opens directly to the poolside terrace and is very versatile.  A unique venue which is perfect for private Dinners & Cocktail parties or that Special event.


This beautiful boardroom has natural filtered light and is ideal for meetings up to 10 guest, small training sessions or presentations.  This room is fitted with a 60 inch wall-mounted flat screen TV for presentations and a private lounge area for breakout sessions.

Poolside Terrace:

This is a fantastic open air space to enjoy the tropical climate of Cairns!   It is a stunning setting for sunset cocktails for 40 – 80 guests.  The space can be themed for a special occasion or a casual standup BBQ style dinner.


The Rydges Tradewinds hotel is ideally situated on the Cairns Esplanade overlooking the Coral Sea.

It boasts 246 accommodation rooms with private balconies and stunning views.  The Cairns Esplanade precinct has a great boardwalk and fitness route right at the hotels doorstep.

The hotel's executive suites and ocean front rooms all include luxurious signature Rydges Dream Beds.

The Grand Ballroom is one of the largest in Cairns with a capacity of 370 people in a theatre style set up.

6 Degrees Terrace is located just outside the 6 Degrees Bar, covered is the perfect venue for inclement weather.  Views are also fabulous from here and there is plenty of scope for special theming.  Cocktail set up for 250 guests.

Poolside is also undercover and is a ‘cool’ venue overlooking the lagoon style pool and gardens.  This is a great versatile area which can be used for cocktail parties or BBQ buffets seating up to 120 guests.

The Garden is a beautiful enclosed and intimate area.  For a function or dinner for up to 100 guests, manicured gardens, special lighting, this venue will make you feel like you are in a tropical paradise.

Hilton Cairns Restaurants:  A local’s favourite Mondo’s Café Bar & Grill on the waterfront is casual tropical dining at its best.   

Donnini’s is the signature Italian restaurant using fresh local produce to create great traditional and modern Italian cuisine.  

Six Degrees Bar is a stylish and cool place to meet or relax over a light meal or cocktail.
